About Louise

Lousie Macklin has been heard throughout the world as a soloist and educator. Lousie joined the Boston Symphony Orchestra in 1998. As a soloist, she has performed has participated in the Tanglewood, Marlboro, Schleswig-Holstein, Blossom, Spoleto, and music festivals, among many others. She is a dedicated recitalist, regularly performing in every Boston music series of note.

Louise obtained her Bachelor of Music and Artist Diploma at the Berklee College of Music. She has previously won orchestral positions in Canada, Australia, and the United States.
